I’m so sorry that I have not written a blog in forever!! I find myself only writing my blogs throughout the winter when things slow down for me. During my busy wedding season my blogging takes a back seat to my work in the field and responding to emails.
Anyways, time to talk some new foundation! As you know in my previous blogs I have raved about It Cosmetics CC cream as my everyday wear for foundation. My reasoning for loving it so much was it added moisture to my skin, had good coverage, and helped achieve a tanner look. For my everyday look I have gotten away from using full coverage foundations (unless I’m going somewhere fancy) and have been loving CC creams. I started getting tired of my It Cosmetics. I think my skin was getting used to it and I felt like by later afternoon I started looking oily.
I began my hunt for something new. I read so many great reviews in magazines and blogs about Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer so I ran to Sephora to pick it up. I tried really hard to love it but I did not. It really did not give much coverage at all. I bought the oil free version and I still felt like I looked oily in my t-zone. I’m really surprised to see how many great reviews it had because I found it to be very average and overpriced. I’d go back to It Cosmetics in a heartbeat!
We all know I love Too Faced Cosmetics and they had a huge sale a few weeks ago so I stocked up on many goodies! I had already had the Peach Palette eye shadow that I love, so I decided to give their Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation a try. This was all online so I really guessed with my color match and figured I’d probably have to ship it back but I was wrong! It was absolutely perfect! Now I would not call this a full coverage foundation and it is not a tinted moisturizer or CC cream but it has a very nice moisturizing feel and light weight just like those products.
I was very impressed with the Peach Perfect Foundation. The coverage is excellent for my daily wear. It adds a little glow to my casper white skin which I always look for! #palegirlproblems It feels like velvet on your skin and has a hint of peach smell. The wear on this is great and I don’t become an oil slick in the afternoon. I would highly recommend this foundation. This one will be my go to for a while.
